Adam Carolla Show - Guest Teresa Strasser

Teresa StrasserAdam Carolla Show - Episode – MP3 link

This episode is a definite listen for those of us that are or have dealt with self doubt and depression.

**Please note that this episode has very explicit content and may be offensive to some people.**

Whether you like podcast king Adam Carolla or not, there is one undeniable fact, he has an eye for talent.

The biggest shining star to immerge from his group of cohorts is former sidekick Teressa Strasser. In my opinion she is one of the wittiest women in broadcasting. Strasser's appeal is her ability to be open about her anxiety, depression and being honest in her recollections about her complicated childhood.

Two years ago she wrote a well reviewed book called "Exploiting my Baby." The book reflects on her pregnancy and her worries about becoming a mother.

She returned to Adam's podcast to talk about her experience in writing the book and being a mother while dealing with many personal issues that drove her to thoughts of suicide.

In listening to the interview I was drawn into her life. Seeing how many of her fears and experiences mirrored that of my own family's life after my son was born.

Strasser is someone who has found a sense of contentment and peace in who she is. During the broadcast she reflects on the mixed blessing of being a published author and the realization that being a skilled writer does not always translate into commercial success.

I highly recommend this episode of the Adam Carolla show and that people show their support by buying a copy of her book.
